Development Intern – Tuesday’s Child TV

So, as if TwoFour wasn’t enough!

The week after my stint there, I wanted a change of scenery, a look at development from within a different company. Perhaps one that wasn’t so mainstream in its approach as an indie. That company was Tuesday’s Child. Most definitely full of grace (and really cool mugs that I got far too obsessed with).

Here I got stuck into some more factual based ideas. Less entertainment. Again, I can’t really talk about those ideas but one I know I can talk about is ‘RV Rampage’ for The Discovery Channel: a great format sending couples across New Zealand in an array of unsuitable mismatched vehicles, with challenged along the way.

Also, Dogstar, later changed to ‘Superstar Dogs’.

Whilst among the team at TC I was responsible for creating talent pools, logging footage for a taster tape for character based fact/ent format, drafting treatments, research and sourcing footage of old TV programmes.

The team were amazingly supportive and I feel really lucky to have worked with them all. Thanks for having me guys! All the best with the pitches!
